Thank you for Howard Reich’s fine tribute to the late singer Peggy Lee (“A hit, and that’s all there is to say,” News, Jan. 23). It was not only meaningful to her legions of longtime fans, but hopefully it may have caught the interest of a new generation of music listeners unaware that there was an era when performers were beloved for craft, graciousness and classy presentation.<\/p>\n
